Last updated: August 29, 2025
This Privacy Policy explains how LoopTask.co collects, uses, discloses, and protects information in connection with our website and services. We are a Texas-based business and we currently offer services only to individuals and organizations in the United States. By using our site or services, you agree to the practices described in this Policy.
Scope and Audience
This Policy applies to information we collect from visitors to our website, prospective clients, and clients who use our WordPress and WooCommerce development and maintenance services. It also covers information we process on behalf of our clients in order to provide those services. This Policy does not cover the privacy practices of third parties that we do not control.
Information We Collect
We collect information that you provide directly, information collected automatically, and information from service providers. Information you provide includes contact details such as name, company, email address, phone number, billing address, and any content you submit in requests, briefs, support tickets, or comments. If you become a client, you may provide project materials, website content, configuration details, and administrative credentials for WordPress, hosting, DNS, or third-party plugins when necessary to perform services. We ask that you share only what is needed and avoid including sensitive personal information about your customers or employees unless it is necessary and authorized.
We collect information automatically when you use our site, including device identifiers, browser type, operating system, IP address, general location derived from IP, pages viewed, referring and exit pages, and the dates and times of visits. We may use first-party cookies and similar technologies to operate the site, remember preferences, and understand usage. You can adjust your browser settings to refuse cookies, although some site features may not function properly.
We do not collect or store full payment card numbers or bank account numbers on our systems. Payments are processed by Stripe, which receives your payment information directly.
How We Use Information
We use information to provide, operate, and improve our services; to create and manage accounts; to communicate with you about projects, subscriptions, and updates; to process payments and fulfill transactions; to secure, monitor, and troubleshoot our systems and your projects; to comply with legal obligations; and to protect our rights, clients, and users. We may use de-identified or aggregated information for analytics, service improvement, and business reporting.
Payments with Stripe
We use Stripe to process payments. Stripe collects and processes your payment information in accordance with its own privacy practices. We receive limited information from Stripe such as a payment method type, the last four digits of a card number, status of a transaction, and billing contact details. Stripe acts as an independent service provider and is responsible for the payment data it processes. We do not control Stripe’s systems and we do not store your full card details on our servers.
Project Management with Taiga
We use Taiga, a hosted project management service operated by Taiga, to organize tasks, messages, attachments, and comments related to your projects. If you participate in our project workspace or if we create tasks on your behalf, information such as your name, email address, and project content may be stored in Taiga’s environment. Taiga acts as our service provider for project management. Taiga processes information under its own terms and technical controls and may store or process data in locations selected by Taiga.
How We Disclose Information
We share information with service providers that perform services for us such as payment processing, project management, hosting, backup, logging, email delivery, and security. These service providers may access personal information only to perform services for us and must protect it appropriately. We may disclose information to comply with law, regulation, legal process, or lawful requests by public authorities; to enforce our agreements or protect our rights, privacy, safety, or property; to investigate and prevent fraud, security incidents, or abuse; and in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar corporate transaction. We do not sell personal information and we do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms may be defined under certain U.S. state privacy laws.
Processing on Behalf of Clients
In the course of providing services, we may process personal information contained in or accessible through your WordPress or WooCommerce sites, hosting accounts, or other systems that you authorize us to access. We process that information only to provide the services and as instructed by you. We do not retain, use, or disclose such information for any purpose other than to provide the services, to maintain or improve the quality and security of our services, or as permitted by law. You are responsible for ensuring that your collection and disclosure of such information to us comply with applicable laws and that you have provided any required notices or obtained any required permissions. Upon termination of services or upon your request, we will delete or return client-controlled personal information in our possession, subject to legal retention requirements and standard backup cycles.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. These include access controls, encryption in transit for our managed systems, credential hygiene, and least-privilege access practices. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your systems and accounts, including choosing strong, unique passwords, enabling multifactor authentication where available, and promptly revoking access that is no longer needed.
Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide the services, to comply with legal obligations, to resolve disputes, to enforce our agreements, and for legitimate business purposes such as security, backups, and accounting. When information is no longer needed, we will delete or de-identify it in accordance with our retention practices. Backup copies may persist for a limited period as part of routine backup processes.

We market and provide services only to users in the United States. If you access our site from outside the United States, you do so at your own initiative and acknowledge that your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States. Our service providers, including Taiga and Stripe, may process information in the United States or other countries.
